Toronto Aerospace Museum's Avro Lancaster FM104 Restoration Project

-------------ENTER---------------

For 35 years, a Lancaster bomber, #FM104, had been a landmark on Toronto's Lakeshore Drive near the CNE grounds. With time, corrosion, metal fatigue, vandals and the elements took their toll. It was becoming a danger to the public, so the Toronto Aerospace Museum (TAM) was selected by the City of Toronto to restore it. This site is about the efforts put forth by the volunteers at the TAM to restore it for future generations.
